    Bon bah voilà pen, je veux récupérer les logs lorsque ça plante, donc met tout ceci dans un fichier vide (met le dans ton home) (et nomme le "gdmplante")

    cp -a /var/log/Xorg.0.log /home/pierre/
    cp -a /var/log/messages.log /home/pierre/
    reboot

    ensuite dans un terminal fait:

    chmod +x gdmplante
    sudo mv gdmplante /bin

    Bon et on est prêt. Lorsque gdm (l'écran de connexion) va planter, tu le log en tty (ctrl+alt+F1, fait gaffe au verrouillage num, c'est par parce que le voyant est allumé que ça fonctionne, désactive puis réactive verrouillage ça marchera)

    Entre ton pseudo, ton pass.

    Puis tape "gdmplante"

    Ça va te faire redémarrer et tu vas trouver 3 fichiers dans ton home: errors.log messages.log et Xorg.0.log. Post les 3 ici stp.

    Voilà le contenu de Xorg.O.log, par contre j'arrive pas à chopper les autres. J'arrive pas à rentrer dans le mode console (avec ctrl + alt + f1) lorsque l'écran est noir, mais seulement lorsque l'écran de session est chargé.

    Ah là le problème est plus grave que je ne pensais, les tty ne sont pas lancés...

    C'est Ubuntu qui marche pas, pas un logiciel tiers (je pensais à X au début)

    Donc là je peux pas t'aider je connais pas trop (plus en fait) Ubuntu :/

    Enfin sinon, on peut toujours voir les messages d'erreur, quand tu démarres ton ordi, tu as le splash je suppose, un écran graphique quoi qui s'affiche et fait patienter, bah on va virer ça.

    Édite le fichier /boot/grub/grub.cfg et vire tous les "quiet" et "splash" que tu vois, enregistre.

    T'inquiète gdm se lancera "noralement".

    Quand justement il ne se lancera pas, note les éventuelles erreurs que tu verras apparaître.

    Note: Sans le splash le démarrage d'Ubuntu c'est moche Smile

    Sinon, au démarrage, avant l'écran "ubuntu" (qui est super moche, mis-console mis-graphique), y'a un message d'erreur :

    J'ai regardé et apparemment ton erreur c'est pas très important ça peut même être ignoré.

    Enfin quand ça "plante" attend pour voir. Attends 5 minutes et si ça n'a pas changé redémarre.

    Sinon comment ça tu n'arrives pas à les enlever ? Tu as édité en root ?
